Peer Car Rental Platform Development

Job ID: 40465964

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

This project involves building a complete peer-to-peer car-sharing platform: a responsive booking website plus companion apps for both iOS and Android. The web front-end will serve as the central reservation hub, while the mobile apps mirror every key function so that owners and renters can manage trips on the go.

Core workflow
A guest searches, checks real-time availability, books, pays, and signs the rental contract—everything flows straight into my current CRM so that customer records, trip data, and payment status stay in one place. I will provide the CRM’s API documentation; you simply need to handle the authentication handshake and push/pull the relevant data.

Essential features (must be present in the first release)
• Calendar for availability that syncs instantly across web, iOS, and Android
• Secure payment gateway with split payouts to hosts and the platform
• User reviews and ratings visible on each vehicle profile
• In-app / on-site document signing to finalise the rental contract

Technology is flexible—React (Next.js) or Vue on the web and a single code-base such as Flutter or React Native for mobile would be ideal, but native builds are fine if you can meet the same launch window. Whichever stack you choose, the UI must remain consistent, fast, and accessible.

Deliverables
1. Production-ready website with booking engine
2. Published iOS & Android apps under my store accounts
3. Cleanly documented CRM integration (endpoints used, payload samples)
4. Source code in a private Git repository and a short hand-over call

Acceptance will be based on: successful end-to-end booking test (search → pay → sign → CRM record created), zero critical bugs, and performance within normal loading thresholds. Let’s discuss timelines, milestone structure, and any questions you have so we can get started.
