PHPFox Improvement & New Feature Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for an experienced PHPFox developer (v4) to work on our 3 active social/game websites (Fun4Friends.com, Friendshipo.com, Pets4Friends.com). The project includes fixing existing issues and developing a new feature as described below.
Tasks to be Completed:
Fix Activity Points & Ranking Issue (Friendshipo.com)
Users’ activity points and ranking are not updating properly.
Need accurate calculation and live ranking updates across the site.
Fix Newsletter Issue (All 3 Websites)
Newsletter sending system is not working correctly.
Emails should be delivered properly to all verified users.
Ensure bounce handling and sending reliability.
Develop & Add Lock System (All 3 Websites)
A Pets Lock System that allows users to lock their profiles so no one else can purchase them.
Feature Details:
User Profile Lock UI:
Small lock icon on every profile (default unlocked).
Tooltip info depending on user/visitor.
Lock Purchase Packages:
$5 — 1 Month Lock
$10 — 3 Months Lock
$25 — 6 Months Lock
$40 — 1 Year Lock
Payment via existing payment system.
Behavior After Purchase:
Locked users cannot be bought by others.
Buy button disabled & tooltip: “Oops, I’m not for sale”
Owners can still buy/sell other pets.
Cancel Lock Option (For Owner Only):
Cancel lock at any time but payment/time is forfeited.
Confirmation popup with warning (no refunds).
Backend Requirements:
Timestamp-based expiry tracking.
Integration with pet listings, profiles, and buying workflows.
Dynamic updates across site.
Lock/unlock event logging for audit history.
Requirements:
Strong experience with PHPFox v4 customization.
Knowledge of PHP/MySQL (PostgreSQL experience is a plus).
Ability to integrate with existing payment system.
Experience with newsletter/deliverability fixes preferred.
Must deliver bug-free, well-documented code.

Fixed and tested Activity Points & Ranking system on Friendshipo.com.
Fully working Newsletter system on all 3 sites.
Completed Pets Lock System on all 3 sites (with purchase, cancel, expiry, and integration).
