Organic Farm-Shop Feature Upgrade
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’ve already put the core website in place for the local farmers who supply organic fruits, vegetables, and a growing selection of dairy items. Now I need a developer to tighten the last screws so the shop operates smoothly day-to-day.
Key things still missing are solid inventory controls—automatic stock updates the moment a sale is confirmed, low-stock alerts that trigger before we run out, and batch tracking so each delivery can be traced back to its farm lot. On the checkout side the only payment I want active for now is simple cash-on-hand (think COD at the farm gate or doorstep), so the flow has to skip card collection yet still confirm the order cleanly for both buyer and farmer.
Deliverables I’m expecting:
• Configure or code the three inventory functions (auto update, low-stock alert, batch tracking) and make sure they’re visible in the dashboard I already have.
• Add “Cash on Hand” as the sole payment option, label it clearly at checkout, and include it in the order confirmation email.
• Test end-to-end—from adding new seasonal produce right through to placing a sample order and receiving the alert emails—so everything works before we go live.
Everything is already hosted and styled, so this is a focused feature pass rather than a ground-up build. Let me know which framework or plugin you’d lean on (or if you prefer to write it from scratch) and roughly how long you’ll need.
