OpenCart Upgrade & PHP Fix

My store is still on OpenCart 2.3.0.2, and the host has permanently moved the server to PHP 7.4.33. The result is a fatal “Unsupported PHP Version” screen on every page. Downgrading PHP is no longer possible, so the site must be upgraded to a version of OpenCart that runs cleanly on PHP 7.4 while keeping everything else—theme, data, and extensions—exactly where they are.

The theme should look identical once the upgrade is complete; I’m not looking for design tweaks, just a working storefront. Several third-party extensions (payment, shipping, SEO) are installed and need to remain operational; update or patch them only if the new core demands it.

You will receive full cPanel, FTP, and OpenCart admin access as well as a staging sub-domain so the live site stays untouched until we are ready to switch over.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• Store loads on PHP 7.4.33 with no errors or deprecated notices.
• Current theme renders exactly as before, layout and styling intact.
• All products, orders, customers, and settings preserved.
• Checkout, payment gateways, shipping calculators, and admin functions tested and working.
• Existing extensions updated or replaced as needed, licence keys preserved.
• Final package includes a full backup of the old site and a concise change log.
