Open-Source Blog Setup & Integration

I’m ready to start publishing articles on eternityready.com / new-homepage and need a full blog installed on my server. The site itself is a straightforward HTML + JavaScript build; whatever platform you recommend must slip neatly into that existing template so the blog pages look identical to the rest of the site—header, footer, colours, typography, everything.

Platform & stack
I don’t have a favourite yet. Ghost, Hugo, a Laravel-based option—or anything you feel best meets the brief—are all on the table as long as:
* No wordpress please
* no cpanel. must work on plain vps
• it is open-source and actively maintained
• it gives me a secure backend where only I log in to write, edit and publish
• it can live in its own folder or subdomain without breaking current SEO

Scope of work
1. Recommend the most suitable platform, explaining why it’s the best fit.
2. Install and configure it on my server ( No cpanel just SSH).
3. Custom-code or adapt a theme so every blog page matches the exact design of /new-homepage.
4. Set up the admin dashboard for single-user access, disable public registration, and harden security.
5. Hand over brief written instructions so I can draft and publish my first post straight away.

Acceptance criteria
• Blog home, post pages and category views are visually indistinguishable from the main site.
• I can log in, create a post, save drafts, publish, unpublish and add images.
• No 404s, console errors or layout shifts across modern browsers.

My project has a small budget. We will not pay over $55. We are family community-based company that is in rebuilding mode. We are not totally a new kid on block or start up but close.
