Open Freelance Job Listings Platform

I’m setting up a web-based platform whose sole focus is publishing freelance job listings and letting talent respond without gatekeepers or paywalls. The site must be openly accessible—new visitors can browse, post, and register straight away—yet still give every user a professional profile complete with ratings and reviews that accumulate as work is completed.

For the first release I need a clean, responsive front-end, a secure back-end, and a database structure that ties each job post to the poster and to the applicants who ultimately receive feedback. The profile section is critical: each freelancer’s page should display a running average rating, written reviews, a project count, and basic bio information. Employers should see the same treatment so trust flows both ways.

An intuitive posting form, simple sign-up flow, and pagination or lazy-loading for the public job feed will round out the minimum viable product. I’m happy if you build it in a framework you’re fastest with—Laravel, Django, Ruby on Rails, or a modern JavaScript stack—as long as the code is well-documented and ready for future add-ons such as advanced search or in-app messaging.
