I would like a simple, reliable way for members and visitors to share their prayer needs online. I need a platform that promotes christian faith and anyone can submit a request easily from any device. The focus is spiritual guidance, so the experience must feel welcoming, confidential, and straightforward.
i would prefer a Christian person to take charge of the project.
Core features I have in mind
• Documented details about set goals identified.
• Clean, responsive page or embed code that I can drop into our existing site.
• Fields for name (optional), email (optional), prayer request text, and a checkbox allowing the writer to mark the request “private” or “share with congregation.”
• Server-side validation to stop spam and enforce a reasonable character limit.
• Automatic email notification to a designated address (or multiple addresses) each time a new request comes in.
• Secure storage of each request in a simple database or cloud sheet so we can track, update, and eventually archive prayers.
Acceptance criteria
– Website loads quickly on desktop and mobile browsers.
– Submissions reach our inbox 100 % of the time and appear correctly in the data store.
– No unhandled errors when required fields are blank or malicious input is attempted.
I’m comfortable with common stacks such as PHP/MySQL, Node.js, or a lightweight no-code tool—use what you’re quickest with, provided you document setup and show me how to change the destination email later. A brief note on how you plan to secure the form (CAPTCHA, recaptcha, honeypot, etc.) will help me feel confident about launching it publicly.
