Niche Skill Marketplace Web App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to launch a niche marketplace where people can buy and sell live one-on-one skills. To keep future growth stress-free, I need the entire site built from scratch rather than on WordPress or a SaaS platform. Social-media logins should handle authentication out of the box, and CCBill will be the sole payment gateway.
Here’s the core interaction I want implemented:
I need it to be desktop and mobile friendly
• Buyers browse a listed skill, pick an available time, and send a booking request.
• Sellers can accept, decline, or counter with a new time until they finally hit Approve.
• Once approved, CCBill charges the buyer automatically and both parties receive real-time alerts by text, email.
Although we’ll launch with just two skills, the underlying data model must make it painless to add dozens more later without rewrites.
An internal admin panel is also required so I can review seller applications and flip a simple Approve / Deny switch before their profiles go live.
Deliverables
- Responsive websire (frontend + backend) built with php and mysql
- CCBill credit-card integration fully tested in sandbox and live mode.
- Social-login flow (Google, Facebook, or similar) wired to the user database.
- Reusable booking engine supporting multiple negotiation rounds and automated status updates.
- Real-time notification service (WebSocket, Pusher, or Firebase Cloud Messaging) for email/SMS/push.
- Admin dashboard with seller moderation, booking oversight, and payments owed and to be paid are tracked
- Clean, well-documented codebase
