• Simple newsletter sign-up that drops addresses straight into a list I can export

Beyond those essentials, the navigation should feel intuitive, load fast on mobile and desktop, and allow me to publish new posts easily once you pass the keys over. If you prefer WordPress, Ghost, or a lightweight custom build, that’s fine—as long as the finished site is responsive, secure, and ready for me to start posting international headlines on day one.
