I’m ready to launch a dedicated space for my news-style articles and need a complete blog site built from the ground up. The focus is straightforward: a clean, fast-loading layout that makes each post easy to read and even easier to share across social media.
You’re free to work with WordPress, Ghost, or another modern CMS—as long as I can log in, publish, edit, and schedule content without touching code. The design should be responsive, light on clutter, and optimized for basic on-page SEO so individual stories can rank well over time.
Core requirements
• A home page that lists my latest news articles with eye-catching featured images and clear timestamps.
• A single-post template that places the headline and byline front-and-center and includes social media sharing buttons (Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn at minimum).
• Category or tag navigation so readers can jump to related topics quickly.
• An intuitive back-end editor that supports headings, images, embeds, and excerpts.
• Basic security and speed plugins configured before hand-off.
Future add-ons like a comment section or newsletter subscription are optional right now; please structure the site so they can be enabled later without a full redesign.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional blog hosted on my domain (I’ll supply hosting credentials).
2. A brief hand-over guide or short screen-share walkthrough showing me how to publish and manage posts.
3. One week of post-launch support to fix any unforeseen layout or sharing issues.
