Need a Self-Hosted Event Registration Portal

Job ID: 40547741

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have just two weeks to launch a secure, self-hosted website that takes attendees smoothly from first click to confirmed spot at our in-person event. The site will live on our own server, so I need a platform that installs cleanly, keeps all data in-house and lets me tweak fields without touching code.

Front-end requirements
• Present clear attendance information—exactly what participants need to bring, the full schedule, everything their fee covers—and embed a digital waiver that guests sign online.
• Collect payment
• Collect standard contact data plus custom items I can add at will; for this run-through I must capture location information and t-shirt sizing.
• Allow an image or PDF upload of identification proof during registration.

Back-end requirements
• Store all submissions in a structured database and let me generate filtered CSV or PDF reports at any time.
• Route every new sign-up into a Pending queue; I manually approve or reject, and the system auto-emails the decision.
• Provide a dashboard where I can search, filter, export, and manage custom fields.
• Enforce SSL/TLS, CAPTCHA, CSRF protection, role-based access, and automated backups.

I’m open to your recommendation on the best self-hosted route—WordPress with Gravity Forms, a Laravel build, Django, or another framework you trust for rapid deployment—and would like to hear which you’d choose, why, and how you’ll meet the deadline.

Deliverables
• Complete registration site installed and configured on our server
• Admin dashboard with approval workflow, reporting, and field manager
• Participant-facing pages covering requirements, schedule, inclusions, waiver, and payment
• Security hardening plus concise hand-over documentation

All code and assets become ours on completion. Outline your proposed stack, milestones, and any pre-built modules you plan to leverage so we can move forward immediately.
