Need Developer to Review & Explain Browser Extension Code (Educational Project)

I have the source code of a Chrome/Brave browser extension (ZIP file, includes manifest.json, JavaScript files, and assets). I am looking for an experienced developer with knowledge of Chrome Extensions and JavaScript to:

-Review the extension’s code (background scripts, manifest, bundled JS, etc.)
-Explain what the extension does in simple, clear language
-Identify which technologies and libraries are being used
-Check for potential security/privacy risks (e.g., unnecessary permissions, data collection, or suspicious behavior)
-Provide a short written summary/report (1–2 pages) with findings

This project is for educational and research purposes only. I want to understand how browser extensions work, what the code is doing, and whether it is safe.

Deliverables:

-A written report (summary of functionality, risks, and technologies used)

-Optional: brief code comments/annotations for clarity

Skills Required:

-Strong knowledge of JavaScript & Web Development

-Experience with Chrome Extension Development

-Understanding of web security and browser permissions

-No modifications to the extension are needed
