Multiplatform Job Logging App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I need a single application that runs smoothly on iOS, Android, and the web (HTML) so technicians can document every service call in three quick steps—snap before, during, and after photos, type notes, and hit save. Each log must capture:
• Work-order number
• Site name chosen from a drop-down pre-populated by a CSV list I supply
User roles are straight forward. Technicians create and update their own jobs; Admin has full create-read-update-delete control and can add new users at any time; Clients simply sign in, browse every completed job, and download a neat PDF report including photos and any notes supplied by tech or admin.
The app has to stay useful without coverage. If there’s no connection, technicians should still attach photos (either live shots or from the gallery), fill fields, and store everything locally until it can sync once online.
All photos, PDFs, and job data will live on Google Drive. I also need the raw job table accessible in Excel format so I can run quick pivots or share snapshots—Google Sheets linked to Drive works fine, as long as I can open it in Excel.
Acceptance criteria
• Universal login screens for Tech, Admin, and Client
• CSV import populates the site drop-down in one click
• Offline capture with automatic background sync
• Drive folders auto-organised by work-order and site
• One-tap PDF export visible to clients and Admin
• Admin web dashboard for full CRUD and user management
Deliver the compiled mobile apps, the responsive web front end, and all backend code or cloud configuration so I can redeploy or extend the system later.
