Multi-Platform Truck CCTV Suite

Job ID: 39759987

Budget: ₹250,000 – ₹500,000 INR

I run a fleet that is already equipped with IP-based CCTV cameras and now I need a single, seamless software experience across web, Android, and iOS that lets my team watch every truck in real time, review stored footage on demand, and receive instant alerts when something critical happens on the road.

Core flow
• Live video streaming – each vehicle has multiple cameras publishing RTSP/ONVIF feeds. The apps must display low-latency, adaptive streams (WebRTC, HLS or similar) with the ability to switch between cameras.
• Footage storage & access – recorded clips sit on an existing NVR / cloud bucket. I need user-friendly browsing, timeline scrubbing, fast download, and the option to bookmark or lock clips so they are never overwritten.
• Real-time alerts & notifications – motion, geofence breach, or panic-button events fire webhooks from our telematics unit. Your backend should receive them instantly, push an in-app and native notification (FCM / APNs), and open the related live view or recording.

Scope of work
1. Web portal (React, Vue, or Angular) for dispatchers: multi-camera dashboard, map overlay, role-based access, and a full audit trail.
2. Native Android and iOS apps (Kotlin + Swift, or a cross-platform stack such as Flutter/React Native) mirroring the same functionality with an offline-first cache for weak coverage areas.
3. Secure backend (Node, Python, or Go preferred) handling authentication (JWT/OAuth), stream tokenisation, event routing, and encrypted storage integration.
4. Basic admin panel to add/remove trucks, assign users, configure alert rules, and set retention periods.

Acceptance criteria
• End-to-end latency on live view ≤ 2 s over 4G.
• Video files play back smoothly up to 1080p, H.264/H.265.
• Alert arrives on phone ≤ 5 s after trigger.
• Source code, API docs, and deployment scripts handed over and ready for Docker/Kubernetes.

If you have shipped video-centric apps before and are comfortable with real-time streaming and push notifications, let’s discuss timelines and milestones.
