Moodle Upgrade & Enhancement
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am already on Moodle 4.x but want to move to the latest stable build and come out of the process with a sharper-looking site, fully updated plugins, and noticeably faster, safer performance.
Here is what I need from you:
• Upgrade my existing Moodle installation to the most recent 4.x release, preserving all courses, users, and data.
• Refresh the user interface with a modern, responsive theme (your recommendation or a custom child-theme based on Boost is welcome).
• Audit every plugin, replace or update those that are out of date, and suggest solid alternatives where support has lapsed.
• Apply security best practices—server-side hardening, HTTPS checks, cron configuration, and role/permission review.
• Optimise page-load times through caching, image and CSS/JS minification, and database fine-tuning.
• Provide a short hand-over document outlining all changes and how to roll back if ever required.
I can supply SSH/FTP and database access, plus a staging sub-domain so we do everything safely before going live. Please let me know the tools you prefer (git, Ansible, CLI upgrade, etc.) and the timeframe you need. Once complete, I will test on staging; if everything works and the visual changes are locked in, we push to production and call the job done.
