Modern Portfolio Website Build
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to finalize and refine an existing website for Origin East, a sourcing and procurement company based in China.
The site structure and content are already in place. We now require a developer to improve the visual quality, refine layouts, and make targeted updates within the existing theme.
This is not a full rebuild. The work involves improving and polishing the current site.
Scope of Work
1. Homepage Improvements
Update and replace homepage slider images (industrial / China sourcing theme)
Improve hero section layout (headline, spacing, CTA buttons)
Ensure text readability over images (overlay / contrast adjustments)
2. Services Section Refinement
Enhance existing service card layout (already partially styled)
Improve spacing, alignment, and visual consistency
Maintain a clean, premium B2B appearance
3. Styling & UI Improvements
Refine typography, spacing, and overall layout consistency
Improve responsiveness (desktop + mobile)
Minor CSS improvements across key pages
4. Performance
Optimize images for fast loading
Ensure no unnecessary scripts or slow elements
Technical Requirements
Strong experience with WordPress theme customization
Comfortable editing PHP templates, CSS, and basic JS
Experience working within existing themes (not rebuilding)
Good understanding of UI/UX for professional business websites
Design Direction
The website should feel:
Clean and modern
Professional and corporate (not overly creative or flashy)
Focused on industrial sourcing, manufacturing, logistics
High-quality, premium B2B standard

Do not propose a full redesign or new theme
Work must be done within the existing structure
Clear communication and structured approach required
