Modern Ingredient E-Commerce Website

I’m building a fully-functional online store dedicated to selling ingredients and need a developer who can take it from concept to launch. The site has to do more than process orders; it needs to drive sales, strengthen brand perception, and capture valuable customer data—all within a modern, elegant interface that looks great on every screen size.

Core objectives
• Convert visitors into buyers through a smooth browsing-to-checkout flow.
• Showcase each ingredient with clear imagery, concise descriptions, and up-sell or cross-sell prompts.
• Encourage repeat engagement via account creation, wish lists, and a newsletter opt-in that feeds directly into my email platform.
• Collect actionable analytics so I can track conversions, visitor behavior, and list growth in real time.

Key functionality & deliverables
1. Responsive storefront built on a robust e-commerce framework (Shopify, WooCommerce, or a comparable platform you recommend).
2. Secure checkout supporting major cards, PayPal, and at least one alternative gateway.
3. Simple back-end CMS so I can add or edit ingredient listings, prices, stock levels, and promo codes without touching code.
4. Integrated SEO basics—clean URLs, meta tags, and schema—to help search engines index every product quickly.
5. GDPR-compliant data capture for email sign-ups and user accounts, with clear consent messaging.
6. Launch assistance: domain pointing, performance testing, and a brief hand-over guide or recorded walkthrough of daily admin tasks.

Design direction
Think minimal, contemporary typography paired with subtle touches of elegance (tones, whitespace, refined iconography). I’ll supply a color palette and logo; you’ll translate that into page templates, product grids, and checkout screens that feel cohesive.
