Modern Informational Website Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I need an experienced web developer to build a small-to-medium informational site that presents my business clearly and professionally. The overall look should be modern and sleek—clean typography, generous white space, crisp imagery, and smooth, responsive interactions that feel great on mobile and desktop alike.
Core scope
• Plan a simple, intuitive page structure (home, about, services, contact, plus any logical sub-pages you recommend).
• Design bespoke layouts that match the modern aesthetic—Figma or Adobe XD mock-ups first, then pixel-perfect HTML5/CSS3 implementation (or a WordPress build with a lightweight theme and custom blocks if that’s faster).
• Develop the site with performance and basic on-page SEO in mind: semantic code, optimized images, meta tags ready.
• Integrate a straightforward CMS so I can update text and images without touching code.
• Set up contact forms, Google Analytics, and essential security plugins before launch.
Acceptance criteria
1. All pages load in under 2 s on standard broadband (tested with Lighthouse).
2. Layouts stay fully responsive down to 320 px width with no horizontal scrolling.
3. Text, colours, and buttons meet WCAG AA contrast guidelines.
4. CMS editing demo shows I can change headings, body copy, and gallery images myself.
