## **Project Description**

We are looking to develop a **mobile application (Android & iOS)** for a **privacy-focused, anonymous community platform**.

The platform should enable users to share experiences and interact safely, with a strong emphasis on **anonymity, minimal data storage, and controlled visibility of user activity**.

This is NOT a typical social media app.
It requires careful handling of **privacy, moderation, and user safety**.

### **1. Authentication**

* Google Sign-In (preferred)
* Store only essential login data (UID)
* No personal details (name, email, phone, etc.) should be stored or displayed

### **2. Anonymous User System**

* Users represented using generated IDs (e.g., User_XXXX)
* No real identity exposure anywhere in the app
* No public profile information

---

### **3. Feed System (Critical Feature)**

* Infinite scroll (no pagination)
* Smooth, modern feed experience
* Post cards with preview and “read more”

---

### **4. Post Creation**

* Category-based posting
* Optional tags
* Text content
* Pre-submit safety warning (avoid personal details)

---

### **5. Interaction System**

* Simple and structured engagement (to maintain respectful tone)
* Replies / reactions supported

---

## **6. Privacy & Data Handling (Very Important)**

### **a. Minimal Data Storage**

* Only login identifier (UID) should be stored
* No personal or identifiable user data should be stored

---

### **b. Post Ownership Visibility Control**

* After a defined time window (e.g., 8 hours):

* Users should no longer see their own posts under their profile/activity section
* Posts should still remain visible in the public feed
* The system should not show any link between the post and the user’s account after this period

---

### **c. Edit & Delete Window**

* Users can:

* Edit their post
* Delete their post

* Only within a limited time window (e.g., 8 hours from creation)

* After this window:

* Edit/delete option should be disabled
* Post becomes permanent in feed (without user linkage)

### **d. Rationale (Implementation Intent)**

* Limit long-term traceability of user activity
* Reduce risk of identity exposure
* Encourage safer, temporary ownership model

## **7. Moderation & Safety**

* Automatic masking of sensitive content:

* Names
* Contact details
* Identifiable references

* Toxicity filtering

* Reporting system

* Admin review & control panel
