Minimalist Multi-Tier Marketplace Build
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I need an end-to-end build of a minimalist yet feature-rich marketplace that supports three distinct product categories—physical goods (our design priority), digital downloads, and auction items—while catering to three membership tiers: Client, Seller, and Corporate. The entire experience must feel engaging and interactive; every screen should invite exploration, conversation, and repeat visits.
Core platform goals
• Clean, distraction-free UI that still delivers rich micro-interactions, subtle animations, and clear calls-to-action.
• Automated onboarding and role-based dashboards for each membership tier, including KYC where relevant.
• Robust catalog management for all product types plus timed auction logic, digital-file delivery, and real-time stock control for physical goods.
Essential community & support features
• User reviews and ratings attached to products, sellers, and transactions.
• Live chat support visible across key touch-points, with escalation paths for corporate members.
• Discussion forums so members can share purchasing tips, unboxings, and troubleshooting advice. Thread moderation controls are a must.
Transactional backbone
– Secure checkout that can mix physical, digital, and auction wins in one cart.
– Multiple payment gateways, split payouts, tax/VAT handling, and auto-generated invoices.
– Shipment tracking integrations for physical orders and instant file access for digital ones.
Admin & analytics layer
• Comprehensive reporting on sales, auctions, community engagement, and membership growth.
• Granular permission settings so my team can manage content, resolve disputes, and highlight featured listings.
Scope & deliverables
1. Detailed technical blueprint, wireframes, and UI prototypes.
2. Full-stack development, including mobile-responsive front-end and scalable back-end (your recommended stack).
3. QA, security hardening, and performance tuning.
4. Deployment to my hosting environment plus a hand-off package: source code, architecture docs, and a concise video walkthrough.
5. Thirty-day post-launch support for bug fixes and minor adjustments.
If you have demonstrable experience building marketplaces with lively user communities, I’m ready to review your approach, timeline, and technology choices.
