I’m looking for an experienced web developer to build a fast, minimal, editorial-style website designed to sell a small number of premium products (books, bundles, digital releases).

This is not a template build or CMS-based site. Performance, restraint, and longevity matter more than feature volume.

Extremely fast-loading, minimal frontend
Editorial layout that positions products as cultural objects, not catalogue items
Stripe Checkout integration for one-time purchases
SEO-friendly, clean semantic structure
Built on a modern, scalable stack (e.g. Next.js or equivalent)

Proven experience building high-performance e-commerce or editorial sites

Direct experience integrating Stripe

Strong understanding of site speed, caching, and SEO fundamentals
