Migrate Custom web application

My custom-built web application is currently running on a self-managed VPS. I have purchased a new domain and shared hosting plan and now need the entire site—including database, media, cron jobs, SSL and email settings—moved across and brought online exactly as it works today.

Scope of work
• Copy all application files and mongodb (or equivalent) databases from the VPS.
• Configure the new hosting environment so directory paths, file permissions, APIs, PHP version, extensions and environment variables match the existing setup.
• Point the new domain’s DNS, install SSL and verify HTTPS redirects.
• Test every public-facing and admin function to confirm that the site behaves identically to the current live version.

Acceptance criteria
• New domain resolves to the site without errors.
• All dynamic features, forms and email notifications function correctly.
• No broken links, missing assets or API warnings after migration.

Once verified, I will decommission the old VPS, so a smooth cut-over with minimal downtime is essential.
