Maintain & Optimize PHP Content Sites
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I oversee a handful of content-heavy blogs powered by a custom PHP CMS and need a reliable developer to keep them fast, secure, and search-friendly. Your core mission is to handle ongoing technical upkeep so I can stay focused on publishing.
The work spans four key areas:
• Page-load speed
– Tweak code, database queries, caching, CDN and any front-end assets until the sites meet Core Web Vitals targets (LCP under 2 s on mobile).
• SEO & EEAT support
– Implement on-page fixes, schema, internal-link refinements and any technical changes that strengthen Expertise, Experience, Authority and Trust signals.
• Security vigilance
– Monitor for vulnerabilities, patch PHP libraries, harden the server stack (firewall rules, SSL, backups) and act fast on any incident.
• CMS & plugin updates
– Keep my bespoke PHP modules as well as third-party scripts current, testing all changes in a staging environment before pushing live.
Deliverables each month
1. A short health report covering speed scores, SEO audit highlights and security status.
2. A changelog of updates applied, with rollback notes.
3. A ticket list of any recommended next steps.
You should be comfortable with Git, SSH, MySQL, caching layers (Redis or Memcached), and performance tools such as Lighthouse or GTmetrix. Familiarity with Cloudflare or similar CDNs is a plus.
