Maintain Custom E-Commerce Website
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I run a fully custom e-commerce store written in plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Sales are growing fast, so I need someone who can step in on an ongoing basis to keep the codebase clean, the pages up to date, and the shopping experience glitch-free.
The core of the job is website maintenance and updates—no product uploads or customer service. Typical work could include fixing layout bugs, refreshing banners or copy, tightening page-load times, patching checkout issues, and applying security best practices. Because the stack is hand-coded, you should be fully comfortable editing raw markup, styling, and scripts without the safety net of a CMS.
I deploy through Git and direct server access, so familiarity with version control, staging environments, and basic SSH or SFTP workflows will make the hand-off smooth. When a task is complete, I expect a concise changelog and confirmation that you have tested the update on major browsers and mobile breakpoints.
Deliverables for each task:
• Updated source files pushed to the repo and live server
• Brief changelog outlining what changed and why
• Confirmation that pages render correctly on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and recent iOS/Android devices
