Project Description:

I am looking to develop a simple and clean typing test website similar to popular typing practice platforms. The goal is to create a basic MVP (Minimum Viable Product) focused on performance, accuracy, and user experience.

Scope of Work:

The developer will be responsible for building a browser-based typing test application with the following features:

1. Typing Test Interface

* Display a paragraph for typing (English)
* Input box for user typing
* Real-time typing tracking
* Highlight correct and incorrect characters

2. Timer Functionality

* Options for 5-minute and 10-minute tests
* Countdown timer
* Auto-stop when time ends

3. Result Calculation

* Words Per Minute (WPM)
* Accuracy percentage
* Total mistakes
* Summary report at the end of the test

4. Paragraph System

* At least 100 preloaded paragraphs
* Random paragraph selection for each test

5. User Interface

* Clean, minimal, and responsive design
* Mobile-friendly layout

6. Controls

* Start / Restart test option

**Important Notes:**

* No login/signup required in this phase
* No database required
* Focus on speed and simplicity
* Code should be clean and scalable for future upgrades

**Technology Preference:**

* HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferred)

* React (optional)

**Timeline:**

* 7–15 days

**Deliverables:**

* Fully functional website
* Source code
* Basic documentation

**Future Scope:**
This is a basic version. Future upgrades may include login system, leaderboard, and exam-based typing modules.
