I need a lightweight, modern web app that lets individual runners track their distance in real time, see elapsed time, and start or stop a run with a single tap. The interface must be clean, responsive, and easy to use on a phone screen because the primary audience will be solo runners who glance at the display mid-stride.

Core functions
• Live GPS tracking that updates distance continuously
• A running timer that pauses and resumes flawlessly with the start/stop control
• Auto-scaling layout so the same codebase looks sharp on mobile and desktop

Extra capability
The site must sync completed runs to Google Fit; if you have a ready pattern for other platforms such as Strava or Nike Run Club, mention it—future expansion is a plus, but Google Fit is mandatory for this delivery.
