I’m launching an educational program and need a full-featured e-learning website built from the ground up. The core of the platform is straightforward: registered students must be able to sign up, log in securely, work through course content, and complete graded quizzes and assessments that record their progress in real time.
Key requirements
• Secure user registration, login, and profile management
• Course pages that present lesson material (text, images, or embedded media I upload)
• A quiz/assessment engine with multiple-choice, true-false, and short-answer options, automatic scoring, and a results dashboard for learners
• Responsive design so the site functions smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile
Acceptance criteria
1. New users can create an account, receive email verification, and log in without errors.
2. Instructors (admin role) can create/edit courses and attach graded quizzes.
3. Learners can view their scores instantly after submitting an assessment and revisit previous attempts in their profile.
4. All pages pass Google Lighthouse’s core web vitals benchmarks for performance and accessibility.
