Laravel reCAPTCHA v2 Integration
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I need reCAPTCHA v2 added to the login and registration flow of my corporate-style site, which is built on Laravel. Everything else on the application is already live; this is the last security layer I want in place to stop automated account creation and credential stuffing attacks.
You will hook up Google reCAPTCHA v2 (checkbox style) to both the login and sign-up controllers, show meaningful error messages when a challenge fails, and make sure existing validation rules continue to work. The solution must respect Laravel’s CSRF protection, middleware stack, and blade templating so future framework updates remain straightforward.
Deliverables and acceptance:
• Updated blade views with the reCAPTCHA widget displayed on both forms
• Controller or Form-Request logic that verifies the token server-side via Google’s API
• A brief README or code comments outlining any environment variables and setup steps
• Successful manual test proving that valid human submissions proceed and bots are blocked without breaking current auth functionality
If you have tackled reCAPTCHA in Laravel before, this should be quick. Let me know your expected turnaround and any questions.
