Laravel Code Review & Optimization
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an older Laravel site that I recently expanded with several new pages and features. The new pieces work, but the entire codebase now feels heavier than it should, so I need a fresh pair of expert eyes to review everything, tighten it up, and squeeze out every bit of speed.
Your main mission is a full-scale code review and optimization pass. I’m primarily interested in performance gains—both server-side processing and front-end loading times—so please be comfortable profiling controllers, jobs, and middleware, as well as trimming asset payloads, bundling, and caching for faster first paint. Along the way, I’d like you to flag any bad practices you spot and suggest cleaner, more maintainable patterns that stay true to Laravel conventions.
Deliverables I expect:
• A concise audit report outlining performance bottlenecks and recommended fixes
• Refactored code (pushed via Git) addressing those points
• Measurable improvements verified by timing or Lighthouse reports
• A short hand-off note so I can keep everything running smoothly after you’re done
The project is ready to begin as soon as we agree on scope; the repository and staging server are standing by. If Laravel performance tuning is second nature to you, let’s talk and get this site flying.
