LGU Public Service Portal
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building an online portal for a local government unit that will let residents handle public service transactions without visiting the municipal hall. Within one month, I need a functional prototype that residents can:
• create secure accounts and log in
• fill out and submit digital forms for services such as permit applications, clearances, and document requests
• pay fees online (or at least generate payment reference numbers)
• track application status in real time and receive email or SMS updates
On the back end, staff must be able to log in to an admin dashboard, review each request, add notes, approve or deny, generate printable PDFs, and export simple reports. Role-based access control, audit logging, and basic WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility are important. A clean, responsive interface is a must, whether you prefer Laravel, Django, Node.js, or a comparable framework.
Deliverables by hand-off:
1. Working portal on a staging server
2. Source code in a Git repository with clear commit history
3. Deployment script or guide for our own server
4. Brief user/admin manual (PDF or Markdown)
Please include links to past work on similar civic or transactional web apps in your bid; that’s the only application detail I need for short-listing.
