JavaScript Portfolio Website Build

I want to put together a clean, modern portfolio site built entirely with vanilla JavaScript (no site builders). The goal is a fast, responsive single-page experience that I can easily expand with new work samples over time.

Here’s the flow I have in mind: a landing section that instantly communicates who I am, smooth navigation to individual project pages, and subtle animations that feel professional rather than flashy. I’ll supply the copy, images, and any SVGs; you handle the layout, component structure, and interaction logic.

Code quality matters more than heavy frameworks, so please keep dependencies minimal, comment clearly, and organise everything in a Git repo I can continue editing after hand-off. Deploying to GitHub Pages is fine for the first iteration.

Deliverables
• Fully functional portfolio site written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Source files in a public or private Git repository with readable commits
• Deployment instructions (or an automated script) so I can push updates myself
