JavaScript GPX Cleaner Upgrade

Job ID: 40459316

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a partially built GPX-cleaning web tool written entirely in JavaScript and now need an extra set of skilled hands to bring it over the finish line.

The core parser already scrubs and rewrites GPX tracks , but there are things still need attention: it has to run faster on large files, a handful of stubborn bugs must be knocked out, and the interface could use a little polish so it feels crisp on both desktop and mobile.

After that tuning work, I want two new capabilities:
• A lightweight, secure user-authentication flow so people can sign up, log in, and keep their cleaned tracks in a private workspace.
• An embed option that lets a user, once a track is cleaned, generate a small HTML/JS snippet they can paste into any website to display the map/profile.

Acceptance criteria
• Sign-up / log-in working with proper session handling (JWT or similar is fine).
• Embed snippet generator producing a self-contained, copy-ready widget.
• Clear README covering setup, build, and deployment.

I will provide exact details. If you enjoy squeezing speed from JavaScript and adding polished features to an existing codebase, let’s talk.

I do not have a big budget, but, if we can work together, then I would like to continue on a larger project , split in several modules. More details to the interested bidders.

IMPORTANT: To prove you have actually read this project description and are not an automated bot or copy-paste agency, you must start your proposal with the exact phrase: 'GPX MAPS 2026'. If these words are not at the very top of your bid, your application will be instantly deleted without being read.
