Interactive Summer Outdoors Blog Build
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I’m launching a season-long blog that celebrates everything people can do outside when the sun is out—hiking trails, beach games, backyard projects, you name it. I already have the domain and hosting in place; what I need now is a developer-designer who can turn that blank canvas into a lively, engaging site.
The core of the build is a clean, summer-themed layout that spotlights written posts and strong imagery while keeping pages lightweight and mobile-friendly. I want readers to be able to react to each story, leave comments, and tap a quick “like,” so a reliable interaction layer is essential. If you usually work with WordPress, Ghost, or another modern CMS that supports native or plug-in based reactions, that works for me—feel free to suggest the stack that lets us launch fast without sacrificing future flexibility.
Alongside the technical side, I need a home page, category template, and single-post template styled consistently, plus the menus, about page, and footer ready so I can start publishing right away. I’ll provide initial copy and photos; you handle setup, styling, and any lightweight optimization (basic SEO settings, image compression, caching plug-ins).
Deliverables:
• Fully configured CMS on my server
• Custom summer-outdoors theme (responsive)
• Comment & like functionality tested and live
• Three ready-to-use page/post templates
• Brief hand-off document so I can keep posting confidently
Once those points are ticked off and the site performs smoothly across modern browsers, we’re done. I’m available daily for quick feedback and content drops—let’s build a space readers will want to come back to all summer long.
