We require an experienced WordPress developer to completely rebuild www.abshow.com.au for Australian Building Services Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, trading as ABS Insurance Brokers.
ABS provides specialist insurance services for builders, contractors, tradespeople, developers, property owners and businesses. The new website must look professional, trustworthy and modern while remaining lightweight, fast loading, mobile responsive and easy for our staff to update.
WORDPRESS REQUIREMENTS
The website must be built in WordPress on a staging site before launch.
The developer must use a lightweight theme, avoid unnecessary plugins and scripts, ensure full responsiveness, create reusable global styles and sections, make the site easy to edit, use only licensed software, provide administrator access, and identify all themes, builders, plugins and annual licence costs.
A Gutenberg/block-based build is preferred. Elementor may be proposed only if strong mobile performance and low page weight can be demonstrated.
DESIGN STYLE
Use a clean corporate design suitable for an Australian insurance broker specialising in construction. It should communicate protection, trust, reliability and industry knowledge, using ABS burgundy, maroon, gold, white and dark neutral colours with clear calls to action.

A grid introducing industries serviced. Each item should include an image or icon, industry name, short description and link.

A staff slider or grid showing photographs, names, positions and links to individual profiles.

A dynamic section showing latest posts with image, title, date, excerpt and Read More link.

Include an industry overview, common risks, relevant insurance products, benefits of using a specialist broker, why choose ABS, enquiry process, related insurance links, FAQs, WPForms enquiry form and final call to action.

STAFF PROFILE TEMPLATE
Create one reusable template containing name, position, photograph, biography, experience, areas of expertise, qualifications, contact details where appropriate, LinkedIn link, call to action and link back to Our People.
WPFORMS
All forms must use WPForms.
At minimum provide:
1. General Contact form.
2. Request an Insurance Quote form.
Possible fields include name, company, email, phone, state, insurance required, industry or trade, message and privacy consent.
Forms must include validation, email notifications, confirmation message or thank-you page, anti-spam protection and SMTP configuration. State whether WPForms Pro or other paid services are required.
FOOTER
Include the ABS logo, company description, phone, email, office address, navigation links, insurance and industry links, social icons, copyright, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Financial Services Guide, Dispute Procedure and Resolution and required financial-services disclosures.
ABS will provide final legal wording. Existing legal pages and documents must be retained, migrated or linked unless otherwise instructed.
CONTENT
ABS will provide final copy, logos, icons, photographs, images and legal disclosures. Build using supplied content or placeholders. ABS will create additional pages after handover.
LAUNCH AND HANDOVER
The developer must:
• Back up the existing website.
• Build and test on staging.
• Obtain approval before launch.
• Transfer the approved site to www.abshow.com.au.
• Test all pages, forms, links, menus, redirects and responsive layouts.
• Confirm SSL, form delivery, analytics and indexing.
• Provide full administrator access.
• Supply a list of plugins, licences and custom code.
• Provide a full website backup.
• Provide written or video training.
Training must cover editing pages, duplicating templates, adding staff, publishing posts, updating menus, viewing forms and clearing cache.
WARRANTY
Include at least 30 days of post-launch defect correction for broken links, display issues, responsive problems, form problems, template errors and functions that do not match the approved scope. Quote ongoing maintenance separately.
