I need a clean, responsive website built specifically for publishing news and updates. The project is purely website development—no logo or graphic contests—so I’m looking for one skilled developer (or a small team) who can take this from kickoff to launch.
Core goals
• Structure the site so readers can quickly browse the latest news, categories, and archived posts.
• Make it informational in tone: no shopping cart, checkout, or portfolio sections—just well-organized articles, images, and possibly embedded video.
• Ensure the back-end lets me post, edit, and schedule news easily. WordPress, Ghost, or another lightweight CMS is fine as long as it’s secure and simple to manage.
What I expect delivered
1. A modern, mobile-friendly front-end layout with intuitive navigation.
2. A CMS set up on my hosting (I can provide cPanel or SSH).
3. Key pages: Home with featured stories, Category listing, Single-article template, About, Contact.
4. Basic SEO best practices baked in (clean URLs, meta tags, schema where relevant).
5. Clear deployment instructions and a brief walkthrough so I can keep publishing without tech help.
