Informational Blog Website Build
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m looking for a developer who can set up a clean, responsive blog-style website whose sole purpose is to publish information articles. The one must-have feature is an internal search bar that returns accurate, fast results so readers can immediately find the content they need. Comment threads and newsletter capture are not required at this stage, but I’d like the build to be flexible enough for those to be added later without a full redesign.
A mainstream, writer-friendly CMS such as WordPress, Ghost, or a comparable platform makes the most sense for me—I want to be able to draft, tag, schedule, and update posts on my own with zero coding. The finished site should be mobile-first, lightweight, and SEO-ready, with clean URLs, proper meta handling, and an intuitive category/tag structure.
Deliverables
• CMS installed and fully configured on my hosting
• Custom or lightly-modified theme matching a simple, modern aesthetic
• Prominent on-site search functionality that indexes new posts automatically
• About and Contact pages plus a blank template for future static pages
• Basic security and performance plugins/settings in place (SSL, caching, spam protection)
• Short hand-off guide (PDF or Google Doc) showing how to create and manage posts, run backups, and adjust the menu/navigation
