Industrial B2B Marketplace Development
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I am building a web-based marketplace that connects industrial companies with vetted, skilled technicians. The platform has to feel as effortless as a consumer app while handling the complex workflows typical of B2B procurement.
Core scope
• Multi-role accounts: industrial companies and skilled technicians each need their own dashboards, while I’ll manage the ecosystem from a dedicated admin panel.
• Intelligent matching: jobs or RFQs must surface to technicians through skill-based, location-based, and rating/review-based logic, with the ability to fine-tune weightings later on.
• Secure payments: Stripe must power escrow-style payments, hold funds until work is approved, and split fees automatically.
• User-generated content: both sides should upload project specs, certifications, and evidence of work completed; moderation tools for me are essential.
• Ratings & reviews: after every job both parties leave feedback that feeds the matching algorithm.
• Scalable tech stack: open to your preferred framework (React, Vue, or similar for the front end; Laravel, Django, or Node for the back) as long as it’s well-documented and AWS/GCP ready.
What I’ll provide
– Wireframes of the main flows
– Brand guidelines and copy
– Stripe credentials and API keys
Acceptance criteria
1. All three matching modes return consistent, paginated results in under 300 ms on a sample data set of 10 k users.
2. Stripe test transactions succeed for one-off payments, scheduled releases, and refund scenarios.
3. Admin can suspend, verify, or delete any account or piece of content in two clicks or fewer.
4. End-to-end tests (Cypress or similar) cover critical user journeys.
If this aligns with your skill-set, tell me which stack you’d choose and link to a comparable marketplace you’ve shipped.
