Incremental Car-Ride Web & App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
The goal is to release a lightweight, minimalist car-ride platform in two clear phases.
Phase 1 – Web MVP
A responsive website comes first. Core modules must cover:
• Secure user registration / login
• A straightforward ride-booking flow (search, select, confirm)
• Integrated payments (credit or wallet) ready for common gateways
The codebase needs to be clean, well-documented and API-driven so that native apps can plug in later without rewrites. I prefer a modern stack (React, Vue or similar on the front end; Node, Laravel, Django—open to discussion—on the back). UI and UX should stay minimalist: clear typography, ample white space, no clutter.
Phase 2 – Mobile Expansion
Once the web MVP is stable, we will branch into iOS and Android using the same back-end services. Laying the groundwork for that now—REST/GraphQL endpoints, token-based auth, modular payment logic—is essential.
Deliverables for this initial engagement
1. Deployed web MVP with the three core features fully functional
2. Source code in a private repo, installation notes, and an architecture brief outlining how the back end scales to mobile
3. Basic test cases and short video walkthrough confirming all flows
Success is defined by a smooth, bug-free booking from sign-up to payment on desktop and mobile browsers, plus a code structure ready for native app builds in the next milestone.
