Inclusive Kids Learning Platform

Job ID: 40512138

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I’m looking to bring to life an online learning platform that engages young children—roughly ages 2 through 8—while remaining fully inclusive for learners with special needs. The core deliverable is a browser-based web application that parents and teachers can open on any modern device without installing extra software.

Scope of work
• Structure the platform to host and stream short educational videos, launch simple interactive games, display reading or teaching materials, and present printable or on-screen interactive cards.
• Build accessibility into every screen: clear visual hierarchy, adjustable text, keyboard and switch-friendly navigation, subtitles or captions for all videos, and alt text for imagery.
• Design a child-friendly dashboard with larger tap targets and minimal cognitive load so neurodiverse users feel comfortable exploring content.
• Integrate an easy-to-use admin area where I can upload new videos, games, or materials and assign them to topics or age levels.
• Recommend appropriate technologies (for example React, Vue, or similar for the frontend; a lightweight backend and secure database for user data and progress tracking) and outline how we can scale content over time.

I’ll provide the initial batch of videos, game ideas, and teaching materials. You’ll translate those assets into a functional prototype, then refine UI/UX until it’s intuitive for both typical learners and children with special needs. Clear, well-commented code and brief documentation on deployment are part of the final hand-off.

If you have experience developing accessible e-learning tools or gamified education sites, I’d love to see examples.
