Import-Export Contract Tracking CRM

For import-export business and need a purpose-built CRM whose single focus is tracking every contract and deal from first quotation right through to final delivery. The driving requirement is reliable contract status tracking: I want to see, at a glance, where each shipment stands, who has the next action, and what deadlines are looming.

Key expectations
• Status updates must work both ways—our team will enter notes manually, but routine events (e-signatures received, BL uploaded, payment confirmed) should also trigger automatic status changes and alerts.
• Each contract should travel a clearly defined pipeline—draft, confirmed, in transit, customs, closed, and any custom stages we add later.
• Dashboards and filters have to be intuitive so sales, logistics, and finance can all find what they need without extra training.
• A concise audit trail for every status change is essential for compliance.



Deliverables
1. A working web-based CRM with user authentication, contract pipeline, and dual update mechanism (manual + automated triggers).
2. Documentation covering data schema, API endpoints (if any), and clear instructions for adding new stages or triggers.
3. A brief hand-off session to walk my team through everyday use.

The project will be considered complete once we can input a contract, watch it move through each stage automatically where possible, and manually correct or advance it when needed
