Image Asset Cataloging Web App

I have a growing collection of images that now lives in scattered folders and cloud drives. I need every file logged, tagged, and placed in a web-based library so I can locate any shot in seconds without remembering file names or locations.

Here’s what I’m after:

• A clean, browser-accessible interface where I can browse or keyword-search the entire catalogue
• Logical folder or collection structure backed by consistent metadata (title, description, keywords, date, source)
• Bulk import of my existing images, with duplicates flagged so nothing is stored twice
• A simple upload workflow I can run myself for future shots
• Basic permission settings so I decide who can view or download

Feel free to suggest the right stack—whether that’s a lightweight PHP/MySQL setup, a DAM platform like ResourceSpace, or a custom solution using Node, React, and an S3 bucket. What matters most is speed, reliability, and an intuitive search.

Acceptance criteria: every image in my current archive is indexed, tagged, and instantly retrievable through keyword search or filtered navigation; overall response time under two seconds per query; and a short hand-off guide that lets me add new images without touching code.
