Homemade Food Online Ordering Webapp
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I run a small-batch, home-cooked meal service and I’m ready to move my ordering process from chat messages and phone calls to a dedicated web application. The single goal is to let customers browse today’s dishes, pick what they want, and submit an order in just a few clicks.
Core flow
• Menu page that I can update easily (dish name, photo, description, price, availability).
• Cart and checkout that supports Cash on Delivery only—no other gateways needed for now.
• Customers check out without creating an account; the form should simply collect name, phone, address, and any special notes.
• An admin dashboard (password-protected) where I can mark items as sold out, view incoming orders in real-time, and change order status (received, cooking, out for delivery, delivered).
Nice-to-have extras (not mandatory but let me know if you can include them without much overhead): responsive design for mobiles, instant notification to my phone/email when a new order arrives, and a small “today’s specials” banner I can toggle on/off.
Acceptance criteria
1. A working, deployable web app (Laravel, Node, Django, or similar—open to your preferred stack).
2. Admin login plus public ordering flow tested on desktop and mobile.
3. Clear instructions for updating menu items and deploying future changes.
4. Source code and any database scripts delivered in a zip/Git repo.
