HTML/PSD Film Site to WordPress
Budget: £100 – £400 GBP
I already have the full site design in HTML and layered PSD files; what I need now is a WordPress build that captures the same creative, artistic feel while giving me a back-end that even a non-developer can update with confidence.
Core requirements
• Recreate the existing pages (coming soon placeholder for pre-launch, Home, Vimeo-embedded trailer, Stills Gallery, Festivals, Behind-the-Scenes, Contact) so the layout mirrors the supplied files and remains fully responsive.
• Make the trailer area pull from Vimeo. Future video swaps must be as simple as pasting a new Vimeo link.
• Build galleries that let me drag-and-drop new stills, reorder them, and add captions without touching code. For cast page and key crew page.
• The Festivals page needs an easy table or repeater field so I can add new laurels, dates, and awards as they come in.
• Enable custom font uploads/choices straight from the dashboard so the typography stays on-brand.
Technical notes
– Please create a lightweight child theme or use a reputable builder (Elementor, Gutenberg blocks, etc.)—whichever delivers the cleanest maintenance path.
– Optimise images and video placeholders for quick loading.
– SEO-ready structure and SSL compatibility are expected.
GoDaddy migration
When the build is approved on your staging server, migrate the entire site (files + database) to my GoDaddy hosting and confirm everything resolves correctly on the live domain.
Handover
A short loom or PDF walkthrough showing where and how to update videos, add stills, enter new festival info, and switch fonts will complete the project.
