HTML5 Manual Conversion & Styling

Job ID: 40328908

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I have several user-manual drafts sitting in Word that need to be transformed into clean, standards-compliant HTML5. The text is finished; what I’m after is the structure and polish that will let me drop the files straight onto a web server and know they just work.

Here’s what I need you to do:

• Re-create each manual in pure HTML5 with a clear, logical heading hierarchy (H1-H6) and semantic markup throughout.
• Apply a modern visual style through a single, well-commented CSS file so every page looks consistent.
• Build a collapsible Table of Contents that appears on every page, making section jumps effortless for readers.
• Insert a lightweight code-syntax highlighter (Highlight.js, Prism—or whichever you prefer) so all existing code blocks are easy to read.
• Organise the output into tidy folders (HTML, CSS, any JS and assets) ready for immediate upload.
• Run the pages through the W3C validator and test every TOC link so nothing breaks.

I’ll provide the Word documents and separate code snippet files; you return a zipped package containing:

– The fully formatted HTML files
– One CSS file with clearly named classes
– Any JS/CSS assets required for the collapsible TOC and syntax highlighting
– A quick read-me noting libraries used and confirmation of validation/TOC checks

That’s it—clean, modern manuals that are easy to navigate and ready to publish.
