Graduate Developers for Social Web App

I’m assembling a small team of fresh graduates—software developers or engineers—to build a functional prototype of a social-networking web application that works seamlessly on both desktop and mobile browsers.

Scope of work
• Develop core social features: user profiles, real-time or near-real-time messaging, and an activity feed that aggregates posts, likes, and follows.
• Design a responsive front end so the interface adapts smoothly to phones, tablets, and large screens.
• Implement a clean, modular back-end structure (language and framework are up to you; popular choices like Node.js, Django, Laravel, or similar are all fine) with an API layer that can later support a mobile app.
• Set up authentication, password reset, and basic privacy settings.
• Provide installation instructions and concise technical documentation so I can deploy the prototype to a staging server.

What I’m looking for
Fresh graduates who enjoy collaborative problem-solving, write clear code, and are comfortable iterating quickly based on feedback. If you have coursework, personal projects, or internships demonstrating web development skills, share a link or repo in your bid.

Deliverables
1. Source code in a public or private Git repository.
2. A working prototype deployed on a test URL I can access.
3. Short README covering setup, tech stack, and next-step recommendations.

I’ll start with milestone tasks for each feature so we can move systematically and give you space to showcase initiative.

P.S - You will have to guide me with new tech and other innovations because I am a bit rusty on those.
