Garage Vehicle Tracking Web App

My workshop needs a single web application that keeps every vehicle’s journey through the garage visible in real time. The core module is vehicle tracking: the moment a car is booked in, I should see its exact location on-site, its current status, and the next scheduled step.

• Digital job cards that technicians can update live from any browser
• Spare-parts management tied to each job card, decreasing stock as parts are assigned

Everything runs in a modern web stack so staff only need a browser—desktop, tablet, or phone. A clean dashboard, role-based access, and an audit trail for edits are expected.

Deliverables
1. Source code (frontend and backend) with clear setup instructions
2. Deployed demo on a test server for acceptance testing
3. Database schema and API documentation
4. Post-deployment support to fix any critical bugs discovered in the first month

Acceptance criteria will be met once the demo shows a vehicle moving through intake, assignment, parts pick, service completion, and exit while updating stock and history in real time.
