Gamified Learning Website Development
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m building a web-based learning portal where every lesson feels like a game level and every completed task is celebrated. The core of the site is simple: users work through bite-sized challenges or tasks and, when they succeed, they instantly earn visually appealing badges and achievements that display on their profile and can be shared to their social feeds.
Scope of work
• Design and develop the full website (front-end and back-end) with a clean, mobile-first UI.
• Implement a secure user system with progress tracking so each member can see which challenges are cleared and which badges remain to be unlocked.
• Create an intuitive admin dashboard where I can build new challenges, set difficulty tiers, and upload learning content without touching code.
• Build the badge engine: dynamic badge creation, automatic awarding on task completion, and social-ready image generation for easy posting.
• Integrate major social media APIs so a user’s latest badge can be shared in a single click, driving organic reach for the platform.
• Add analytics hooks (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) to monitor engagement, challenge completion rates, and badge popularity.
Acceptance criteria
1. User registers, selects a challenge, submits the required task, and immediately receives the correct badge.
2. Badges display in real time on the user’s public profile and can be posted to at least Facebook, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn.
3. Admin can create/edit/delete challenges and badges from the dashboard without developer assistance.
4. Site loads in under 2 s on desktop and mobile, with scores of 90+ on Google Lighthouse performance and accessibility audits.
5. Code is delivered in a Git repository with clear README for local setup and a one-click deployment script to my preferred host (AWS, Vercel, or similar).
If you have a track record in gamification, responsive web design, and social API integration, I’d love to see examples of your work and discuss timelines right away.
