Full Stack Developer – Build Retirement Calculator Web App (React / Next.js / Charts / Stripe)

We are building a retirement savings calculator web application that helps users determine how long their savings will last in retirement.
Users will enter basic financial inputs (age, savings, spending, etc.), and the application will run a projection model and display the results visually.
The app will also offer a paid downloadable PDF report summarizing the results.
This is an MVP project with well-defined requirements.

Core Features
The application will include:
1. Retirement calculator
Users enter:
• current age
• retirement age
• life expectancy
• current savings
• monthly spending
• expected investment return
• inflation rate
The system will project the savings balance over time using a monthly financial model.
2. Results page
The results page will show:
• a chart of savings balance over time
• projected depletion age (if savings run out)
• typical / downside / upside scenarios
• simple improvement suggestions (reduce spending, delay retirement, etc.)
3. Improvement scenarios
The calculator should automatically show examples such as:
• reducing spending
• delaying retirement
• small changes to investment returns
These scenarios will show how the user could extend their retirement plan.
4. Payment integration
Users will be able to purchase a Retirement Strategy Report ($29) via Stripe.
5. PDF report
After payment, the system should generate a custom PDF report containing:
• summary of the user’s inputs
• savings projection chart
• improvement strategies
• risk summary
