Freelancer Portfolio Platform Build
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m building a new freelancing platform and the very first piece I want solidly in place is the portfolio module. Every freelancer on the site must be able to create a rich public profile that feels trustworthy at a glance and is effortless to maintain behind the scenes.
Here’s what the finished module needs to cover:
• Work samples and projects – visual and text-based items neatly displayed, with optional captions, dates, and project tags.
• Client testimonials – quotes tied to individual projects or added as general feedback, each with a star rating field.
• Skills and certifications – an editable, searchable list that supports badges or uploaded proof for credentials.
I’m after a responsive interface (desktop and mobile) with clean navigation, an admin dashboard for moderation, and database design that keeps things fast even as the site scales. Feel free to work with a stack you’re comfortable with—Laravel, Django, Node/React, or similar—as long as the code is well-documented and easy for another developer to extend later.
Deliverables I’ll review for acceptance:
1. Source code in a private repo with setup instructions.
2. A live, password-protected demo showing profile creation, editing, and public view.
3. Brief technical documentation covering architecture, main dependencies, and future hooks.
