Fix WordPress .htaccess Error
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
My WordPress site suddenly started throwing a 500 Internal Server Error and I can’t pinpoint why—there was no recent plugin, theme, or core update that might have triggered it. I suspect the issue lives in the .htaccess file, but I haven’t touched any rules myself.
Here’s what I need:
• Identify the exact .htaccess conflict that is breaking the site.
• Repair or regenerate the file so the front-end and wp-admin both load normally.
• Confirm permalinks, redirects, and any existing rewrite rules still function as intended.
Please be comfortable digging through server logs, working with standard WordPress file structures, and restoring access without disturbing live content. Once the error is gone and everything loads cleanly, I’ll review and close out the project right away.
